This is an excellent Chef Knife of the perfect size great for beginners and experts alike. It is made of Mo-V high carbon molybdenum-vanadium stainless steel. The handle is made of POM (polyoxymethylene), which provides excellent resistance to temperatures and water, as well as resistance to deformation.
This particular knife is the best of both worlds, Japanese engineering, and design but Chinese manufacturing. This model is made in China and then inspected, sharpened, and packaged in Japan.
